As the Big Game makes it’s mark in the Big Easy, the challenge was to reflect the spirit of New Orleans in a style that is undoubtably the NFL. Working within a small team of designers and photographers, the Super Bowl XLVII style guide was created to brand everything from consumer products merchandise to decor in and around the city and the Super Dome. I developed a system of custom type lockups based on the wrought iron from New Orleans architecture.
These type lockups were used on stadium and environmental decor, merchandise, and digital.
